July 14-18, 9 AM to 3 PM (Session One )
July 21-25, 9 AM to 3 PM (Session Two)
$145 per child
$125 per child (if a member of GRCM, UICA or SCMC.)
Champs Camp (Children, Art, Music and Play) is a partnership between UICA, the Grand Rapids Children's Museum and St. Cecilia's Music Center. The weeklong camp offers children, ages 5-8, the opportunity to participate in hands-on, creative activities in the areas of the visual arts, music, theatre and play.

This years' theme, “All Around the Mitten” will engage campers in fun activities centered on the wonderful state of Michigan, it's seasons and it's regions.

Activities:
Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts
Campers will have a great time learning about a variety of visual arts techniques. They will explore and be inspired by the different seasons and regions of Michigan.

Grand Rapids Children's Museum
Campers will engage in creative dramatics to explore their voice, body and imagination. The world will come alive as campers jump into books and discover their creative side through movement and games.

St. Cecilia's Music Center
Children's imaginations will soar as they use the vehicle of music and movement to express themselves and their personal experiences living in Michigan.
